Since 2011, TREE has reached out to around 50,000 students in cities, towns and villages across the state of Tamil Nadu, India. The sessions, which were based on carefully chosen natural history and conservation films and experiential learning activities, received an overwhelming response. The following are the programmes conducted through two of our initiatives Youth for Conservation (YFC) and Youth Conservation Action Network (YouCAN).
A one-year, pan India fellowship program for young school teachers, passionate youth and upcoming grassroots conservationists to create eco-clubs for K-12 students through experiential learning, visual storytelling and environmental stewardship.
