In India, where more than 50% of the population is young and below the age of 25, there is an urgent need to inculcate a strong sense of the importance of conservation among the youth. This will ensure better decision-makers in the future, who will understand the critical importance of protecting India’s forests and wildlife.
TREE strives to develop ecological consciousness among today’s youth through carefully curated outreach programmes. YFC aims to inform, motivate, empower and guide young Indians to become green citizens and everyday environmentalists contributing towards a greener India and a greener planet.

This is a short video of our flagship initiative titled Youth for Conservation, was launched by TREE a few years ago, to work with youth in a more focused manner.
TREE strongly believes that only a generation that is equipped with passion and purpose can meet the challenges of the future, especially in a world where environmental degradation is fast becoming the norm.
