Young Naturalists Camp
A Nature Camp in a wildlife reserve is one of the best ways to inculcate an interest towards nature among students.
23 enthusiastic students selected from 'The Truth About Tigers Outreach Marathon' Tiruchirapalli region, were taken on a 3-day nature camp to Periyar Tiger Reserve in Kerala. The camp was conducted in collaboration with 'The Science and Adventure Club, Trichy' and 'Periyar Foundation'. Students were taught the basic skills of a naturalist: birdwatching, observing wildlife in the right way and creating backyard gardens to provide a home to birds and other creatures living in an urban environment.
