It was our pleasure to start outreach programs in the first week of New Year. YFC collaborated with National Green Corps, an initiative of the ‘Department Of Environment’, Govt. of Tamil Nadu to conduct outreach programs in their schools in Chennai.
Around 3100 students in 14 schools participated in our programs. It turned about to be a surprise that in a city like Chennai where media campaigns like Aircel’s ‘Save Our Tigers’ were plastered everywhere, schools had very less or no exposure to such problems. Therefore, the pleasure of interacting and sharing the DVDs of the film were more here.
